Right of Withdrawal

This notice reflects German consumer-protection law and is provided for convenience; the German version is authoritative. It applies where we conclude a paid distance contract with you as a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code) — for example as part of a custom development or consulting engagement. For the plugins provided free of charge through our customer account, the right of withdrawal has no practical relevance in the absence of any payment.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse all payments we have received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

If, at your express request, we began performing the service before the withdrawal period expired, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided by the time you notify us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal relative to the total scope of services provided for in the contract.

Early expiry for digital content

For contracts on the supply of digital content not supplied on a physical medium (e.g. plugin downloads), your right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun performing the contract after you have expressly agreed that we begin performing the contract before the withdrawal period expires, and you have confirmed your awareness that by giving your consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.
